ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and is a set of factors that assess how an organisation impacts on the environment and society. Freeths are not only committed to providing the highest standard of legal services to our clients, but also to doing this in the most ethical and sustainable way possible.

Our ESG policy encompasses our range of initiatives and policies across the firm, including:

What our ESG strategy looks like:

Environmental

  • Investment in IT equipment to reduce the need to travel to meetings and allow more agile and flexible working
  • Sustainable sourcing is used where possible for all branded marketing items and equipment
  • We use recycled products where possible
  • We encourage recycling across all of our offices
  • We are ISO14001 and ISO 27001 accredited
  • We have regular audits across our offices and look into renewable energy sources where possible
